I'd have to go with the Dumor Food argument too.
We were feeding our hens Dumor from
TSC and my parents noticed the eggs tasted "oniony" (I don't eat eggs so I haven't a clue) after trying all sorts of things we switched food one week because
TSC didn't have anything but Purina. Now we'd never go back. Dumor is the
TSC brand made by Purina, but it isn't the same ingredients or concentration of ingredients. Also, just a thought, we've noticed at our house, if you wash the eggs before you put them in the fridge they WILL absorb the odors from the fridge. Don't wash them or better yet don't put them in the fridge! They don't need it =] And if you put them in there with something strong smelling, like fish or onions, they somtimes absorb that flavor too. Good luck!
Also, whoever was talking about feeding their hens frozen grass clippings during the winter,
THAT IS THE BEST IDEA EVER. I can't wait to try it this summer!!!
