Does anyone have some advice they would share on what they do with the eggs that don't hatch out when using an incubator? My fear is that something may still be alive in one of them and I don't want it to suffer. Has anyone heard of freezing the eggs that don't hatch and then disposing of them?

Thanks!

Candle them if no movement. Pitch them, chances of knowing what happened, if you open them are slim to none. I don't open the eggs for two reasons, one is I don't like to look at dead chicks and too I'm not a vet to say, " oh that's why it died." Seriously you can't tell what happened. What day are you on?

Yesterday was day 23. We have since disposed of the eggs, unfortunately. We incubated 37 eggs and only 14 survived. Not sure what went wrong. This was our second time hatching and the first time we lost about 12.
