So you have. I didn't know they came in black as well.
The trouble I'm having with the gray model is it doesn't seem to be weatherproof.
I've tried running it outside but it just switches off.
I've had this model for 7 years now. I must have been trying to operate it incorrectly for a while. I finally realized it was the indoor model and now I can't switch the ****** thing off!![]()
Bantam Cochins are wonderful brooders. Small enough not to crush eggs accidentally (though they have the limited capacity problem), and an astonishing brooding instinct. Keeps on going year after year. Emma here and a Bantam Cochin-mix hen is the most persistent brooders I've had, and great mothers too. Never a single problem!
