a porous egg is one that the shell is spotty when you candle it. The hen did not evenly lay calcium on the membrane. This isn't the color on the outside, it's the shell quality itself.
thanks walnuthill! You've been so much help! But this morning and yesterday morning I weighed my egg and it keeps on losing 1 g. so right now it's from 42g to 33g. I' highered the humidity to 60%~75% but it keeps on lessening!
Can you put some wet but not dripping sponges in the incubator, not touching the eggs? Use warm water, the same temperature as the eggs, and keep them wet. You may need to do this until the end of incubation.
