One of my 5 hens, I believe it's the RI, is laying an egg with a soft shell, one end is very soft. The others have gotten in to the habit of eating the soft egg if I don't get to it in time. Sometimes I think she's laying 2 eggs per day. They all get the same nutrition daily and the other hens' eggs are nicely formed. Daily they get pellets, corn scratch, many veggie scraps, sunflower seeds and they usually get out to forage for several hours. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Chic DeChic

They have oyster shell & grit available at all times. If she's laying more than one egg per day is there anything that should change in her diet?
