Eggs with specks in them??

Lately when I break my eggs into a dish I notice brown specks in them. Does having a rooster with them cause that?

Nope, doesn't have a thing to do with having a rooster. What you described is a meat spot. Happens from time to time. Even happens with commercial eggs, but they are candled and the ones showing meat or blood spots are rendered into other products, so the consumer rarely ever sees one.
