There are LOTS of people out there like OP's boss. Even my Harvard students needed edjumicatin about chickens and eggs ... my great plans for having lively discussion about a book we'd just read morphed into one about the sex lives of chickens .. godhelpus .. as a nation we've moved way too far away from the land for our own collective good ..

Let them be a cashier at walmart and have their register malfunction and not tell them how much change to give the customer. It really throws them for a loop and makes me wonder what happened to elementary math.​
