Eggs wrong?

So my sister sent me a pic of her ducks eggs cause she said something was growing on them... I'm not sure what to think so I told her I would ask here

To me it looks like dirt or poop. She says she cant wipe it off with a dry cloth.

It does look lke dirt. Sometimes if an egg is laid in something dirty it's harder to clean off. Just try washing the egg in warm water with some soap, and if that doesn't work, then start worrying.

Well, then it's not a problem at all. Dirty eggs are normal, although I prefer to let my hens hatch the cleanest eggs.
