what age do pekin ducks start laying eggs and how do i know if it's yolk or a baby duck inside

Its a yolk every time.

Ducks will start to lay eggs at around 20-24 weeks of age. There is always a yoke in the egg because that actually isn't the chick itself, but rather what gives it nutrients while it develops.

My Ducks started laying at 8 months old...The eggs need to be fertilized by a Drake and then incubated for Ducklings to start developing......Collect the eggs daily and then they are no different than a store bought egg........
