I have first week of June babies so this thread discussion only reinforces for me that mine are likely to lay in the spring. I caught Hedy sing what I thought was an egg song and she was up in the chick house during the day when no one else was but no go. They are about 19 weeks. Any eggs are great!:pop
 
Mine were hatched 2-28 and just this month most have started laying. So you could be in for a longer wait yet. The breeds are 3 Isa Browns, 2 Speckled Sussex (only 1 is laying thus far) and 2 are EEs (one laid her first today, the other hasn't started yet). Now that being said, all 3 of my Olive Eggers started this week and they were 24 weeks old.
