For increased production... skip the scratch which is usually low in protein and has no added vitamins, minerals, or amino acids that the formulated ration does. Making sure any treat is kept to 10% or less of their total daily ration keeps things balanced.

Laying is a hormone that is light related... less light equals less eggs usually. More light equals more eggs. Adding your general location to you profile might help peeps make the most relevant suggestion possible at a glance. At 2 years old.. they should lay less often then when they first started laying.

Checking for external parasites after dark with a flashlight. and getting a fecal float for internal parasites to see if treatment is needed and make sure the correct medication is used if needed. Both these things can impact production levels...
