Eggs

I wish I could. But the other chicks are still bit wet and I don’t want to risk losing them too. That egg kept poking his beak out. It seems like it couldn’t get out. Is it shrink wrapped? Or maybe it is because it started hatching upside down? Do I need to help it before it’s to late?

You should try posting your problem to the Incubating & Hatching forum for help. Good luck with the chick.

Ok thanks. It turned out fine and has now hatched. But I have an egg that started hatching facing down. I managed to get it over and all I can see is a little slightly moving beak with a tiny bit of brown goop coming out. Any advice?
Welcome to BYC!
Brown goop doesn't sound good.
Can you get a clear picture of this brown goop?

The chicks won't die if they've already hatched, just by you opening the incubator. Is your brooder warm?
