i have eight golden commet chickens that have started laying. but i only get two a day but every once in a while i will get four can someone help me figur out why i dont get four a day thank you

It can be sporadic when they first start laying.

How old are they, and how long have your girls been laying? Are they getting good quality layer feed, and not too many treats? Are they free range or in a coop full-time? Answers to these questions may help figure out your problem...
