eggs

Hello everyone, Have some rescue chickens and some young bantams, (had them about 2 weeks) they rescue hens have laid 4 eggs (dont know which one) and the bantam has laid 3 again dont know which one. They have stopped laying now, is this normal this time of year? Help.

from England! Glad you joined us!! Are the hens going bald in places? it may be because they are moulting, so wont lay.

from North Carolina!!! I ditto the molting question. When chickens lose their feathers in the Fall getting ready for winter, they quit laying for awhile. But do try the other categories. Good luck!
