K i have some silkie eggs that are a day late. One chick hatch on day 20 and none have pipped or hatched since. Could this be a humidity problem. I had the temp at 100.00 the whole time. The humidty for the 18 days was 45%. When i put the eggs down for lockdown i put the humidity up to 70 %. Could the other eggs have drowned or what ???

I let all my eggs sit until they are at least 3 days late. Then I either candle or float test them to see if they are alive. 1 day late is not a worry yet.
