I have Buff Orpingtons, at what age do they usually start laying?

Mine started laying 5- 5 1/2 months

Mine were 18-22 weeks old.

Ok so I was guessing sometime in August. They were born around the 1st week of March. Do I start feeding them layer formula about a month before they should start laying?
