eggs

Help ! all my chickens are laying their eggs in the same box! Is this ok ? What do I do to stop it?

That's like one stop shopping. Do you think you could train them to put their eggs in a carton?

my chickens do the same. It is interesting, they like laying eggs in the same box. It might be a maternal thing where if they lay eggs together then a broody can hatch them all?!

Just my thoughts.

This is not a problem at all. Much easier to gather them. But to encourage them to lay in the other nesting boxes, I would put golf balls in the other nests. They still may all lay in the same nest though. I know that most of my chickens have favorite nests and will only use those. They will squawk and pace back and forth while waiting for their turn. They even will squeeze in with another hen if they just can't wait.
