You can use 20"x20" pots ! LOL. Seriously my nests are bigger than minimum 12"x12" unless you have turkeys laying eggs.

No we only have chickens but my cousin has turkeys and they need help to so thanks

I've seen it used, matter of fact I've considered using them but I wanted to be different and tie up the nests with my garden and garden sheds theme lol

You'll likely want to put a barrier of some sort on the front to help keep the nesting material in the bucket.

My "BUDS" nests are 14"x17" plastic flower pots and old drawers (6 for 10 layers)

I just love these! Decorative and functional! Bravo

We have some friends that made nest boxes out of 5 gallon buckets, they put the lids of tightly and than cut a hole in them (if that makes sense).
