We have been enjoying our daily fresh eggs from the girls since November ( they were hatched July fourth). I have been decreasing their supplemental light, as Spring is approaching and temps have been becoming milder. Today, I received two eggs the size of banty eggs....what's going on?
Has the lighting decreases begun to effect their egg production, are they preparing for a moult? None of my girls are acting off, or sickly.... I am new to this and they're are my first chickens, so any answers are better than none. THANKS
