Eggsplosion

How old does An egg have to be to explode? I had some quail eggs off eBay and 1 week in (maybe) I go to turn eggs and discover what the funny smell was...the smell wasn't unbearable but the goop was gross and another egg was sweating....def not happy as fully half were broken on receipt then I got to see my first eggsplosion lol

2 weeks I have heard causes the eggsplosion. I don't try it lol. I have gotten my fair share of eggs and not satisfied with the ones I get in the mail. I buy from breeders I know of and only to add new blood.
