Egyptian Geese

Hi, I’ve been interested in getting a pair of Egyptian Geese for a few years now. I know that they’ll need their own enclosure as they are very territorial. I’ve been searching up trying to find if I can keep them here with a licence or not but the number of websites and links confuses me. Also I have been thinking about getting a pair of Mandarin duck size (almost getting one) but I want to be able to breed them as I’ve heard they can get fatty bits around their reproductive organs, and can be hard to breed in general. What should I do?

Not sure what the laws are for owning or if you even can but Egyptian geese are considered an invasive species there and can be dispatched on site so you have no protection for them

They are not a invasive species here. They were introduced but have been controlled. They are however a pest in Victoria but are not declared.

In the USA, in Florida, the Egptian geese are multiplying. I saw some in the swan lake near my mom's apt. She said they came on their own. I think they are lovely. I don't know if they are considered a problem.
