my goats have gotten out and managed to eat the tops off, but that was about it..nothin big The grow back really fast and it was just the very tip tops..not down to the ball. They are very prolific.

Hmm i no nothing about plant so this question might sound dumb butdo they actually walk?

What I read is that their top growth is heavy and nods over to the ground and then new plants grow from there.....thus the notion of them "walking....

I see it says they're hardy, but that usually applies to cold. Will they grow well in hot, humid environments? I'd love to have year round onions. Right now even my chives are faltering.

They do wonderful..they just grow and grow and grow! Let me know, cause i still have some left.
