Electric company to do major spraying

www.signaloflove.org/clearcutting/reports/24D.pdf Here is a study. I would definitely see as the previous poster, ridgerunner suggested. Find out what they are spraying.

If you have ever walked your dog in a neighborhood (as I had) not knowing the effects of herbicides even when the application is dry...just watch your dog proceed to lick the pads of their feet. Even the various lawn co. use rubber boots and respirators when applying the product. I wouldn't want that stuff near me or my animals. Not trying to cause a panic..."Just sayin"

knowledge is power!

Thank you 1livelychic, I am waiting on a return call from electric co. to see what the chemicals they will be using. I can't help but think if this can kill trees and vegetaion it really can not be safe.

I'm glad you posted and are being proactive.

It never hurts!
I lost a border collie to lymphoma. I asked myself and the vets. How on earth a healthy dog could get lymphoma at 7 years of age?

He passed away 8 months later.

It was then I started doing research on herbicides, canine diet. I would walk him three times a day...and after every walk he would lick his paws incesstantly sp? I started rinsing his paws off every time we walked. There is a study that was performed at the Iowa University veterinary lab regarding herbicides. An incredible amount of dogs developed lymphoma from that study...all breeds, ages and sizes. I'm sure you can find it. I'm not saying that is the sole reason he developed the disease but it sure made me more aware and think. I also changed their diet program to exclude all grains. I don't know everything but like everyone else I sure do try my best!
