edit: never mind, I found the answer. sorry to post too soon! (answer is approx. 60 days assuming relatively weed-free and assuming draw down to 40% before recharge.)

our coop is nearing completion and we're looking into movable electric netting to help keep predators out. the systems that I'm interested in require a 12v deep cycle battery to power the energizer. my question is, how often do these batteries need to be recharged?
I've seen solar powered energizers as well, but the ones I've seen only power 1/3 the amount of fence as comparably-priced battery setups.
