Electric fence

We will have 2 runs w one an electric fence.
Do the chickens pass out when they touch, get shocked?

They're insulated with feathers unless they're face or leg touched.

Mine leap in the air and squawk loudly and then go back to the important business of digging for bugs.
Ones that hit the fence remember and avoid it and they teach several others.
They do forget eventually until one of them hits it again.

An electric fence for poultry has a low voltage. It's not like a cattle fence.
