I would like to make a second pen for my turkeys- I was looking at Electric poultry fencing, and one of the companys, said not to use with turkeys? Is that true? Any ideas ?

Did you ask them why? It's challenging to respond when you don't know what you are responding to. Also, what kind of electrical fencing were you considering? Poultry netting is a lot different than stringing strands of hot wire with or without a mesh fence in conjunction with the electric strands. I suggest you call them back and ask why. I'd also ask if they have any recommendations.

I have not raised broad-breasted turkeys, but I have raised Midget Whites. Once they mature it's quite possible the BB can't fly very well if at all, but my Midget White was an excellent flier. I'd expect immature BB turkeys to be excellent fliers. That would be my guess but you are probably better asking them so you know instead of me guessing why.

I was looking into the Pre Fab electric poultry netting that comes in 164 Ft. Lengths. I did not ask and personally don't see why it wouldn't work. The fence is 42 in high, and BB Turkeys cant jump that high after a while. I was just seeing what other guys do. My birds are all ready in a permanent pen, I'm just try to put up a "portable" pen to keep them on fresh ground.
