electrolytes and brewer's yeast

My ducklings arrive this week and i plan to add electrolytes to their water for a while. How long should i add them for?

I also have Brewer's Yeast on the way for their niacin supplement. Do i wait till i stop the electrolytes before adding the Brewer's Yeast? And how much Brewer's Yeast should i give them each day?

Great to see you getting ready ahead of time!

From what I read, just a sprinkling of brewer's yeast on their food should do it. Regarding electrolytes, I gave mine gro-gel once their first week, then a vitamin-electrolyte-probiotic every two weeks after that for several weeks.

OK, i have Gro-Gel coming in the box with them to give them and my chicks upon arrival. I have a large stash of Sav-A-Chick packets in the cupboard too to use for them and the chicks (i use it once every 10-14 days and in hot weather for my older birds too).
