Electrolytes for 5 week olds

The heat here in Northern Florida is HOT! (At the risk of sounding obvious). Lol. Can I give my 5 week old chicks electrolytes in a separate waterer to help them? Thanks

Yes.
You can also make a wet mash out of their feed and put the electrolytes in that, chill it and feed them a cold treat.

Recently, I found a freeze dried coconut water at my local health food store. I know that coconut water has naturally occurring electrolytes, so I've been giving that instead. Either the freeze dried or a can of pure unsweetened coconut water diluted in fresh water. I like that it doesn't have salt in it.

Yes, but I'd limit it to once a week. I've found that shade and fresh, clean water is enough.
Mine are clean leg--feather foot might be different.
