It's a sad day here; I had to euthanize our favorite pullet, Olive. I saw this morning that she had a closed eye that was crusty and took her to the vet. He diagnosed it as "infra orbital sinusitis/coryza". She was very thin - had probably stopped eating the last day or two and she likely would have passed on tomorrow. I decided to euthanize and I only hope my other two birds will be spared.
My first chickens (3 of them), home for two weeks, and already the hard decision. I hope things get easier than this.
