Anaru went to hide for awhile in Peace Forest.

Saroya went to the ElementStone to wait for Keahi.

Keahi ignored Natalya, and Dev rushed to him. "Keahi! Kat is gone!" Dev panted.

"She probably went into Death Forest. Come on!" They ran into forest.

Anaru appeared after a few minutes. "Keahi has gone into Death Forest. Kat has gone missing." He informed her.

Lux woke up again. How many days had gone by? The marks the creature had left on his neck had begun to heal. For the first time he realized he was in a cave. There were gems and stones glowing, everywhere. Wait a moment, these weren’t just gems and stones they were power crystals. These were what held each horses power that had been killed by a predator. Then he noticed the bones scattered around. He guessed not many horses made it out of here. Suddenly he had a realization. Why hadn’t the creature eaten him yet? Oh, no! He could hear it coming through the mouth of the cave. He slowed his rapid breathing and closed his eyes. Maybe if he appeared asleep it would leave him alone one more time. Then he heard it. Three screams. Two sounded like that of a young foal the other was his sister. “Kat. Kat. Is that you?” He called out weakly. His voice was hoarse (no pun intended) and broke several times through the short sentence. Another scream. This time it wasn’t of terror or fear. It was a dark terrible, evil scream coming from the creature. It fell to the ground and a horse was standing on top of it, fighting off the children of the beast. Then another horse came, this one appeared on fire. Lux slipped back into the land of nightmares.

"That's a real smart thing to do." She muttered.

Kat saw her brother. He was torn up badly, his back left leg barely there. Her brother had lifted his head for a moment before it fell back down. He was alive, but only slightly. That was when the creature had pounced.

Her children, hidden in a tree , both screamed for their mother and rode an air current high above her.
