Saphire walked up to Dev and nuzzled his cheek, not meaning a sign of love but of consulation, to not feel so hurt at her best friends stinging words.

Kat saw the nuzzle and heaved the body off of her. She leaped up and stormed off. The animals in her path silent. Tears were streaming down her face. She ran blindly, forgetting her young, and everything else.

Kat stopped, and commanded a falcon to sit on her shoulder. It swooped down, she called it for no reason other than it's compainionship.
