"No. It worries me, what the others are saying about pegisi. I of course don't belive they wings but that was the name of my children's fathers herd, after the rouge took over. I think they may be trying to steal our land." Kat folded her legs under the pear tree and looked up at Dev.
"Come and rest next to me. I see in your eyes, you need it." She motioned her head toward the ground next to her.
