hi ,

I builded a frame in just palet wood but a strong frame as in really doubled poles next to eachother and each bar gets support by two instead of none or one but here is my issue as it comes to the roof : we got a free plate that gets used a lot in the area for building a roof , it is a heavy plate that is curved , it looks as if it is concrete but its another material I guess , I can not lift this thing myself and it is in fact not even that huge , when the frame was built in with glue only (the real thing for wood outdoors ofcourse! ) that even SHOULD hold heavy things the entire coop (however unfinished ) did collapse because we had the roof on it and forgot to take that thing of again for further building the coop .
It was placed by someone with the force to get it on top of it yet he forgot about to take it of , and it did collapse just like that , now there are screws attached to the wood , but here is my main question :
I am not that known , familiar with toys for men if I should call it like this , I mean that I have not used a machine to put the screws in , I just did it by hand by grabbing my screws and a hammer and I already noticed that no matter how hard I hit (on my both thumbs included , ow and the middle one is broken , nice ) the wood stays just solid , no movement at all , so that is why I am guessing it is just totally steady but still , I got sevear doubts about that heavy yet waterproof roofing , can anyone here help me out a bit on HOW to make SURE the roof will not make this collapse again without taking too much time ? what do I need to add or do to have a solid and safe coop ???
how can I be sure that the roof is not gonna cause the other issue twice ??
do I need MORE wood for the frame ?? ( keeping in mind there are 4 coops to be build and it needs to be less wood but already used like 8 pallets and the walls aren't even attached to it , I'm only busy on the insulation out of presswood at this point yet I already have to go order AGAIN that much on pallets and woodplates , this is becoming quite expensive so really some advice is wished for . I thank u in advance and hope that I can be assured and continue the buildup before tomorrow eve , I am in a rush as new chickens arrive and that can not wait anymore , nor can it be delayed ...
Keeping fingers crossed , thanks .
