I'm getting this coop delivered in the next two weeks! It's 6'x8'. I'm located in Western PA. It will be on a pretty flat part of our yard. We can only dig about a foot before we hit rock. Can I just place it on four cinder blocks and call it a day? I would also be wrapping the bottom with hardware cloth to keep critters out.

The way I have seen people do it where I live is the cinder blocks. If the wood is treated to be able to sit on the ground then you can just make sure the spot where you want it is level. That’s what I did with mine-we were having the road graded so I asked them to level me a spot for my coop 😄 But my coop is designed to sit on the ground because it’s a tractor so yours might be different
