Ellie Mae, Super Puppy!

Just wanted to do justice to our wonderful new pup, and post her adorable mug for the world to see

. She is 15 weeks old and is almost 50 lbs (!). She is a Great Pyr English Mastiff cross, but she looks like a monster yellow lab.

She is a love bug with the kids, the chickens and just about anyone or anything that crosses her path.

Oh, and just to avoid upsetting any well meaning, concerned folks out there, she is up to date on shots, is being fully socialized, will be spayed when she is old enough, and will be my son's 4H obedience partner

. We adopted her from some wonderful people who fell on hard times and were going to have to put her in a shelter. Hooray for puppies!!!!

Wow! She's a good looking little (did I say little?) gal! I thought she was lab until you said otherwise! Enjoy....

BTW...we have a crazy Beagle puppy here in our house!

She's a beauty! I do see the Mastiff in her face, though. Both wonderful breeds and they sure go well together, as seen in your pretty little girl.

I have a great feeling about her though, and either way she is here forever.

It's around her eyes and the slight droop her face/eye area. I do see the Mastiff in there! Very nice pup.
