Sounds like a good rooster! I had to give away a rooster like that, he was so protective of them if someone new came over, but he was very sweet to me and his ladies. I was pretty sad when he died of Mareks, only one year old.Yep, he a tad scared of people but loves to watch the hens. It's really cute.
You live in a town, right? Are you allowed to keep roosters? That sounds the opposite of fun.
They've started fighting with my drakes .
