Last Thursday, I believe, I hatched out five Elliot’s eggs. Now between Thursday and yesterday all but two have died, with one about to follow its kin. It seems like they become thriftless and a few hours later they just die. I know they are eating because I have had to replace food, with none being spilled. Yesterday we tried putting crumbled hardboiled eggs on the food, but we still lost another one. It is frustrating to keep losing one every other day. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

have you tried that electrolyte gel stuff TSC has? maybe a little sugar water? If all else fails, send me all the elliots eggs you get

I tried the eloctrolytes and sugar in the water, but to no avail. I did everything that I could think of that I would do with chicks, but they just seem like they have no desire to live.

Brooder temp ok & free from drafts? Feeding a gamebird starter feed (higher in protein than chick starter)?

Yes, on all accounts. The last two seem to be doing better, so I guess we will see. Thanks for the help.
