just found on here a, were are you, forum and there is 2 others on there that have legbars. so yeah must be a uk thing. when did yours start laying eggs? and do they fly when there bigger. mine did a little flap and a hop the other day trying to eat a fly. funny to watch.
Mine started laying at around 22 weeks and yes, they are very flighty. My girls can fly to the top of my five foot fencing without much trouble so I have to keep one wing clipped. They also took a long time to come round to being friendly but they were 16 weeks when I got them so I had missed the 'easier to tame' chick stage. They will now happily eat out of my hand and jump on my lap but are still not keen on being touched. They are such pretty girls though and very feisty....definitely close to the top of the pecking order, putting birds that are twice their size and weight in their place!!
