I had a Golden Polish roo named Elvis. He was beautiful, but aggressive.
We had to take a broom to the coop to keep him off of us. Today I smacked him with the broom and killed him. I really didnt hit him that hard.
I feel bad, but at least We dont have to carry a broom around.
    His feather are beautiful,
How do I preserve them? Just pluck or boil.
We are going to have Elvis for dinner tonite.

in order to preserve the feathers you can pluck them and dont have to worry about boiling them. We have a bunch of feathers that my grandpa collected when he was young and they are still intact
