I don't think there really is such a thing as quick results when dealing with a rodent problem. You really just have to keep at it with the bait. We had a mouse explosion in my barn a few years back, I don't like poison but I finally had to use bait stations to get it under control. That worked very well and fairly fast. Ever since then I keep an electric Rat Zapper trap out at all times, it catches a critter now and then and haven't had anymore problems.
