Embden Goose only eating wildfowl pellets and corn

What only Canada geese poop everywhere??? people complain about them here too.

I was just thinking yesterday....with the number of geese that I have now, once they´re grown, I´ll be cleaning up poop ALL day! But at least I´ll not have the huge flocks like the Canadas.....beautiful, though.....they used to cull them from time to time.

I only have 2 geese and they leave nice lil green and brown piles [depending on what they have been eating] and then add the ducks and chickens to the mix. Phew whee. I remember one time we went to the Biltmore estate [big tourist attraction] and was walking down to this pretty pond when all of a sudden we saw piles and piles of goose poop yep there were the Canada's out there in the water, we made a fast retreat before we had to drive home with it all over our shoes. .I really do like Canada's theres been a pair that have tried to nest on a lil island in our river for the past 2 yrs and every time she get her eggs laid the heavy rains come and flood the island and her eggs get washed away. As far as I know they were only successful once and had 2 lil goslings. I wonder if they lose the first time if they are able to try again?

I LOVE this pic with them all in a row! Sometimes the 8 Embdens at our lake will do that....and alternate also. OR they pair off like they planned the color scheme! Unbelieveable! So I take it the Canadians are worse poopers than the Embdens? LOL....

They´re probably much the same, just that in THIS biggish park there are about 60, but in the park in England there´d be about 200 or more! That´s a lot of slip-weaponry!!!
