Dennis sat on the couch with the TV on, hood over his head. He sobbed silently, deep sounds muffling into his palms. You're such a low life loser... his mind repeated over and over to himself. Just like your father.

Suprisingly quickly, Jude filled up two suitcases; one large and one slightly smaller suitcase. She headed into the hallway, where she grabbed her coat and purse. As she passed by the living room, she stopped. Biting her lip, Jude said quietly, "Dennis?" Her voice was barely a whisper.

"O-okay," he said, sniffing deeply as he choked back the tears that were about to rain down his face once again. "I'm such...I'm such a low-life. I never meant to h-hurt you, Jude. I don't even know what happened...I-I was too drunk to remember anything."

Jude sighed, her voice trembling ever so slightly. "No, y-you're not Dennis...." She replied. Carefully, she placed her baggage down onto the floor and walked up to her boyfriend. She embraced him tightly, before whispereing into his ear a last goodbye and walking ou the door with her stuff.
