Bridget sighed and put down her fork, replacing it with the whiskey glass. She stared blankly at the wall as she sipped it. Should'a flown to Texas, She thought.

She blinked before forcing her expression to brighten. "No, I'm fine! Just thinking..." She gulped the rest of hers before standing to go to the pantry. "Excuse me," She said politely, holding up the glass momentarily.
