"I hope you may find your love and trust soon." Helo said.

She turned to Helo, her eyes written with the words I'm trying... She sighed. She walked off with her head held low. Thunderstorm looked up to the clouds. "Father..." she whispered.

"You know, it's fine and dandy if you had a hard time and you need to work back up to normal, but disrespect isn't an option," he said gently.

"Well, you know what? you're not going to change me, no matter what you do!" Thunderstorm snarled, tears falling from her eyes. "And you didn't even know that today was my birthday, and you're already doing this to me?" She ran off.

Trajon sighed. He set off after her at a brisk pace.

Thunderstorm ran on, knowing that Trojan was following. She swerved a corner to a high ledge, high above EmberHerd. She looked up at the clouds. "Father... I know you're seeing me. I love you." She sighed, whinnied once and reared up on her hind legs, racing down the ledge and over to the lake.
