(Thanks! I'll bring them in.)
Wind glared at Summer. "Don't be so quick to judge, hotshot," he said breathlessly. He was already in a cranky mood after finding out about Breanni's argument with his son.![]()
"I'm sorry?" Summer replied politely, her brows furrowed in a confused way. "Well, I'm sorry if it appears that way. But, honestly, I wasn't judging her, I just was asking why she's so angry." She said, doing her best to sound polite.
A limo, followed by a pick-up truck pulling a large horse trailer, pulled up to the stables. A middle-aged man stepped out of the limo and started walking towards the office.
Wind sighed. "Sorry, Summer. I'm so stressed right now... I've got a temper. I can't wait until this wedding is over and me and Bridget can start practicing. The WEG's are in September, you know!" he said, and touched his nose to her shoulder in apology.
"It's fine, I understand." Summer said, accepting his apology with a smile. "Yeah, I know. I hope you two do good at the WEG's, though I'm quite sure that you will."
Wind laughed. "Thanks, it means a lot. I'm pumped! I'll get to see so many of my old friends," he said. "Besides winning," he added with a wink.
