My black tail white Japanese hen is lying eggs. I am setting them into the incubator as soon as she lays. Problem is that after 7-8 days embryo dies, while 1 or 2 we infertile.

Please help me on this what should i do??

If your rooster is also a short-legged Japanese, there is a gene present in them that causes them to die in the egg. Here is a chart you can look at to help determine if you have other issues, though.

Yikes! I just realized I didn't give enough information in that first sentence. There is a lethal short-leg gene that will make 25% of the birds die in the egg, not all of them! It's a lethal gene that not all have, and 50% will have short legs, and 25% will not carry the gene, nor have short legs.

Yes, both are short legged. Female is about 1 year while male is 6 month old, is that ok also?

So it means that i keep on setting eggs in incubator.

And thank you so much for the help

Yes, just keep setting eggs, but wait until you have several to set at a time, or you'll end up with a lonely chick- you need to hatch at least 2 or it'll be unbearable. Check my BYC page for some Incubation hints on my cheat-sheet (at the top there is a link).

I found ChooksChick cheat-sheet very helpful in figuring out where I went wrong on my last 2 attempted hatches.

Naveed I agree with ChooksChick to just keep on setting eggs. I hope you have a successful hatch this time around.
