Candling eggs. Day 3-7

Here’s some of our eggs.
(I’ve labelled each collage)
Let me know what we all think? Day 12!
Number 2 has me concerned as it’s the only one that looks so open!!

I would not throw away #2 unless it started to stink.
I am on day 13 with my eggs and I have a couple that I can’t really tell!

We are on day 12 today. And some of them look right but others definitely don’t, they look less developed day wise.
Should I be worried?

I found this blog very helpful when I was candling. It shows where the eggs should be on a given day and explains what to look for in bad eggs. With this blog I found out two of my larger eggs were a day behind the smaller ones so I knew they'd take a bit longer to hatch.

No smell at all! I smell test them most days as I can’t check one of the eggs at all

I hope so! I think next time I’ll wait again for a broody hen. This is so stressful hahaha!

What style of incubator are you using, could you post a picture of it?

I’ll grab a pic later of the incubator . But the incubator isn’t the problem for not being able to check an egg. It’s blue, and no matter what I use, nothing is working to show the inside lol.
