Embryo Questions

I candled some of my eggs on day 4 or 5. A lot of the embryos were growing, there is a chick and veins BUT they are not on the yolk, they are up by the air cell. I know some of the air cells air detached so , I am thinking the embryo got detached from the yolk. Will they grow and be okay or will they eventually die?

you know i have eggs in the bator due to hatch and most of them have veins attached to the air cell and they are ok so far and hatching any day dont give up.

What you are seeing is normal, so no need to worry! The embryo should not be attached, so-to-speak, directly to the yoke anyways. The yolks purpose is kind of like the placenta in a human. It will nourish the chick until it hatches and for the first few days afterwards.

Just checking since all the candling pics I see shows the embryo on the yolk and mines no were near it. I was really worried
