Hi, my name is Maggie and I live and teach on Long Island, NY.

I decided to do this project at the last minute and will not be able to get my eggs from our Cornell Cooperative Farm because of Spring Break. I would have to pick up the eggs on April 15th, the week we are off!
Soooo, I am searching the internet to find a reasonable price for 7 dozen chicken eggs, and 1 dozen duck eggs, the regular white kind.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! You might try posting in your state thread for local eggs. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/231485/ny-chicken-lover and check out the BYC Buy-Sell-Trade forum www.backyardchickens.com/f/36/chicken-hatching-eggs you can post a Want ad after you have 20 posts. Other places to check locally might be the farm/feed store bulletin boards (or the employees may know and be able to tell you who has flocks) and the local Craigslist ... if you don't need purebreds, you could check on ads for eating eggs also since many people have roosters running with their laying flocks.
