I found her laid out gasping for breath and cold I warmed her up and gave her a couple of drops of water she has opened her eyes for few seconds
what else can I do? This is the same chick I had to hatch it looks like she got herself stuck outside the door.

I really don't know much about hatching chicks but I would suggest slowly warming the chick back up, which you already have.... and maybe adding some electrolytes to the water for a short bit while you try to get her re-hydrated (assuming she was away from the water and food as well)

Best of luck, and keep us posted.

Eeeek what are electrolytes?? I googled and it said it is like sport drink? I did put a tiny bit of sugar in but not sure the chick got much as i had to open her beak to drop some in

*edit* she seems to be coming around I really thought she had died so this is progress. I want to give her more water but she is so little being a bantam and so young that i am worried of getting it in her nostrils. think i should let her rest 5 mins then try and force a drop in??

Technically, you are supposed to use electrolyte powder for poultry- it is found in a pouch at the feed store. I know you do not have any now, but I would get some for future use in emergency/illness situations. For now a bit of sugar, or kayro syrup mixed with the water will work. Good to hear she's coming around. I would give her a bit of time before you try forcing more water. When did you find her and how long do you estimate she was without (heat/water)? If you have her warmed that is the main thing right now. If not, remember to do it slowly. Sudden changes in body temps are not good for ANY species. Try offering her free water and see if she'll take it.... Sounds like you're doing good so far!

possibly all night it was farely warm out and dry last night for England.
I warmed her with my body heat first then put on hot water bottle.
she is not well enough to drink unaided but she is tryin to sit rather than just laying sprawled out. I guess I just have to wait and see.
the feed store is quite far to go and I dont want to leave her we probably sell it or something similar I will find out on that one.
thank you for your quick reponses and trying to help <3 I will keep you posted xx

Here is Glenda L Heywood's recipe for Wet Mash ProBiotic:

WET MASH PROBIOTIC TREATMENT
natural probiotic recipe is is:
for each chick multiply by amt of chicks fed
2 tsp of dry crumbles
3-1/2 tsp of milk, sweet, sour, or buttermilk or a mixture of all or some
1 tsp of yoguart of non flavored yoguart ( no artificial sweetmer)
mix good
AFTER PUTTING VIT'S IN
PUT 1 TSP OF APPLE SAUCE FOR THE WET MASH PROBIOTIC

Once the chick can eat, feed her the wet mash. For now you may try another drop or two of water, but not too much. I agree, there is no point in rushing to the feed store now, just do a dab of sugar or kayro syrup. But, next time you're there I would get some to have on hand

Keep up the good work, I hope she comes around!

Always warm a cold bird up before rehydrating... rehydrate before giving feed (so in cases of hypothermia it is not recommended to give feed before warming and rehydrating!)

Hi roo mum I made a trip to the garden centre they never heard of electrolyte but I found some poultry drink which has minerals sugar protein and other stuff in which I guess is similar stuff?
Anyway she seems to have perked up and is sitting up. She doeant seem to want to drink by her self so i gave her a couple of drops and put her back in the airing cupboard cheeping away xx
